Joy + Brian are nothing short of in love. Amidst all the storm issues + the time crunch we were in, that didn't stop them from enjoying every second of their day. You know your marriage is going to be something special when God throws in a rainbow behind you as you walk down the isle.
Traveling all night afterwards was so worth getting to capture their special day. Sometimes this job is crazy and hectic but in the end, I am so deeply passionate about it that those things fall to the background. Thank you God for allowing me to know these amazing couples and help tell their love story.
Jake + Hannah are both small town people that live life to the fullest while chasing their dreams together. Hannah is a artist and has her own art gallery and Jake is just finished school with a medical degree. They grew up 2 hours apart, living somewhat of a similar life. Both in smaller towns, country living, family oriented, and Jesus lovin'. Found each other online and the rest of their love story fell into place.
Planning their wedding was easy with Hannah being an artist. All the decorations were hand-made in their wedding including : the florals, the centerpieces, the earthy styled invitations + programs, ceremony space featuring the dried wreath, and the veil. (yes she made her own veil!) It made her gorgeous Rosa Clara gown feel even more elegant.
They decided on the perfect little ranch in central Ohio to compliment and complete all of Hannah and Jake's wedding day dreams. Being all about family like this couple was, it was fitting to have a smaller wedding and make it extra special by only inviting family and very close friends, which were basically family. As horses roamed around us, we watched as the happy bride and groom said their personal vows, cried, prayed, united with a tree planting, and sealed it all with a kiss. I've never seen something quite as special as them both crying in each others arms, tears of joy after they walked down the aisle as husband + wife.
We celebrated their love after the ceremony in the all white barn with food, drinks from the family owned boat, and of course the desserts that were all home-made by different family members including "Grandma Barnhill's Oatmeal Coconut Cookies",(I might or might not had 4) & then of course finished the night out by dancing. Nothing more fun than watching the groom + his best man quote every single line to "Ice Ice Baby".
Brides, when planning your wedding, remember that not everything has to be bought to be beautiful. This couple + their wedding is a perfect example of doing things yourself, making them who YOU are, and still being out of this world, stunning.
Meet one of my GORG 2018 Senior reps, Bekah!
Our first summer session was such a dream. She was so laid back, and adventurous in anything that I wanted her to try. Not to mention, she is a rockstar in front of the camera.
Meet Spencer & Amy. Cutest couple in the history of like ever. I met them last year around the holiday's for their wedding consultation and from the moment I saw them for the first time, I KNEW their love was magical. I wasn't quite sure how magical until we shot their engagement session. Their love for each other radiates out of every ounce of them. I felt like I was a fly on the wall of one of their nights together. Not only does their love show in photo's, but also off camera as well.
So many of these photo's below are images that were candid. Not posed, not staged, but REAL. & THAT'S what I love about them. I cannot wait to share their special day with them in the fall. Congrats to the future Knous's.
Paige is a hair and makeup artist in southwest Ohio. She grew up as a small town girl where everyone was family. She fell in love with her husband at the age of thirteen, dated until 22, and got married. 3 months later they found out they were pregnant with a precious baby girl.
It was so very important to Paige to have her maternity pictures taken in what basically was her backyard. She wanted to look back at the pictures and remember the town she grew up in, fell in love in, and now will raise her baby girl, Penelope in.
With the winter seasons being so breathtaking in Ohio, she had decided to have her session planned during that time. She wanted something very whimsical and dreamy, so the snow added that effect to the shoot. She had bought a dress from Windsor and had it custom fit to her cute baby bump & picked a beautiful light rose color to foreshadow her soon to be baby girl.
To add something fresh and new to maternity shoots, Romance Blooms designed her a custom bouquet & floral crown to bring life into the session and symbolize new beginnings. Paige is so excited to meet her baby Penelope very soon and now she will have these photo’s to look back on and cherish forever.
